NAVSUP Market Development 5
This Business Development position is within the Integrated Logistics Division of Global Services and Support and will create, maintain, and advance positive customer relationships to become a trusted business partner externally with the Navy Supply Command (NAVSUP) and internally with the Tactical Aircraft & Weapon Support (TA&WS) business. The candidate will also develop relationships to support current Performance Based Logistics (PBL) contracts and improve insights on USN PBL acquisition strategies. This position also:
Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of customer business and acquisition processes, culture, requirements and related topics to gain competitive advantage, to position Boeing solutions, and to influence all parties during opportunity capture.
Fosters business growth by using knowledge of Boeing products, services, processes, and operations to create strategy and tactics that promote Boeing solutions.
Interfaces with customers, industry partners, and internal Boeing resources to keep all parties appraised of key issues.
Researches, reviews, and analyzes information about the market environment and about competitor's products and services, to leverage and to improve competitive position, and to secure customer and vendor commitments on behalf of The Boeing Company.
Assists others in establishing promotion and positioning plans for Boeing solutions.

Typical Education/Experience
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Position requires the ability to obtain an interim Secret Clearance (pre-start) and final Secret Clearance (Post Start) - US Citizenship Required (Refer to Security Clearance Definitions link above). Applicants MUST include their security clearance level, investigation type and investigation date clearly on their resume. This position is directly related to customer interaction with NAVSUP. Therefore the qualified candidate must already be familiar with NAVSUP (NAVICP) and be able to immediately work relationships on existing and future contracts.
