Outside Technical Sales Professional
We are looking to hire an additional outside sales professional for our Montgomery, AL location. The person we seek to hire will have experience in field sales, be technically inclined, have consultative selling skills, and be able to develop new business on a consistent basis. The territory will include most of southern AL, and Troy, AL is a good central point for the candidate to be based out of.
This is a professional sales position and will offer a competitive base salary plus incentive compensation on everything you sell.
We are International experts in performing predictive analysis and preventative maintenance service on commercial electrical distribution systems. It is not critical that you have experience in this industry, it is only critical that you have the energy and ability necessary to learn our business! Specific services include and are not limited to, Infrared Thermographic Imaging, Ultrasonic Testing, and Power Quality Analysis.
We are looking for a sales professional who is relentless in initiating contact with new customers, and, then able to follow up in order to sell preventive maintenance service agreements. Familiarity with, or, the aptitude to gain an understanding of electrical distribution systems and testing is important. Experience selling maintenance contracts, service agreements, or any other intangible service is a plus.
The successful sales candidate must be highly skilled in cold calling, relationship building and closing. The salesperson must be able to qualify sales prospects, make effective sales presentations, and be competent and comfortable in contacting various appropriate level managers and individuals at customer sites, including senior management. This is strictly a B2B sales opportunity!
The individual we seek must be computer literate and able to use a laptop PC (including all associated software).
