Product Manager - Commercial Channel Business Printers
Product Manager - Commercial Channel Business Printers
Responsible for leading the development, planning, positioning and launching activities of assigned product(s), and providing input into the forecasting and successful procurement of product. Collaborates with/Key Customers include Corporate, Product Leadership Team, Marketing Communications, and Sales.
Product Development
Provides input into the development of product road maps for assigned product(s). Coordinates with Corporate to monitor product development process and
makes recommendations for meeting market needs to product management team.
Conducts and analyzes market information and provides interpretation.
Product Management
Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, Logistics, Corporate, and other groups to manage the product throughout its lifecycle.
Provides input into positioning and pricing of assigned product(s).
With some guidance, establishes structured processes for a complete product launch for assigned product(s).
Collaborates with sales and logistics organizations to optimize product forecast and product procurement.
Provides input into key advertising and promotions tactics for assigned product(s).
Manages end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met.
Serves as internal and external PR spokesperson for assigned product(s).
Supports the company at events, including sales meetings and trade shows.
Supports the sales team in customer visits and presentations.
Conducts competitive analysis and benchmarking for assigned product(s).
Initiates and maintains relationships with industry trade groups, analysts, and publications.
Requirements
Min 5 years of direct line Product Management experience managing commercial channel lines Laser Printers
Strong marketing analysis, project management, marketing communications and strategic planning
Ability to sell ideas well through creative & innovative cohesive presentations
Excellent communication skills which include presentations
Ability to travel up to 35% of time (domestically and internationally)
Completion of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (B.A. or B.S.) -
MBA with an emphasis in Marketing is highly preferred
