The Accounting team is looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee special projects. The ideal candidate will offer a diverse background with a broad knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, CPA, and 10+ years of experience.
Support the accounting management and staff in completing special accounting projects including assisting other accounting functions as necessary, researching various accounting transactions, documenting processes and in drafting procedures.
Responsible for Project Management of major projects affecting the accounting department.
Responsible for implementing corporate policy.
Responsible for ensuring adequate internal controls exist in the financial reporting process.
Support accounting management and staff to ensure the functionality of Oracle is maximized and manual processes are eliminated.
Develop and implement analyses to support financial statement items.
Overall responsibility for the supervision of accounting staff
Establish and communicate clear performance goals and expectations to staff and provide continuous performance feedback against such goals and expectations.
Prepare and conduct timely performance evaluations for all direct reports.
Ability to delegate efficiently and accordingly.
Manage complex personnel issues.
Effective recruitment of quality employees.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA required.
