Regional Area Manager - Leading Network Storage Provider
Symmetry Search is currently conducting a confidential search for an technology Sales Professional in the Seattle or Portland areas.
We have been engaged by a leading Network Storage Manufacturer to find a dynamic Regional Area Manager to manage all sales in the Pacific Northwest Region. Our client is an industry leading public company with a long record of success, and strong revenue growth.
In this role you would be responsible for developing new relationships for the company, and managing existing relationships with resellers and distributors. This is a rare opportunity to join a company who is on the rise, offers a significant compensation plan, and provides a promising career path.
Requirements:
• 5 or more years experience selling Server, Networking or Storage hardware and/or IT services
• Experience selling through multiple avenues and can seamlessly move from selling to B2B end users, to VARs, to other channels.
• Good contacts with Dell, HP, Cisco, and IBM is preferred.
• Solid understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP and Fibre Channel, along with RAID network storage technology, HBAs and NICs on enterprise wide systems.
• A record of achieving a personal quota
• Familiarity with most facets of information technology: ethernet, infrastructure, server and desktop technology, cloud, security, enterprise networking, architecture, etc.
Compensation:
Base salary: $140-160,000 depending on experience, plus lucrative commission plan
Reasonable expectation for first year: $220,000+
