Proactively and systematically develop new direct business in a highly complex sales environment
Work with the marketing and customer solutions teams for the achievement of revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with Naverus' company vision and values
Responsible for the sales of Naverus Performance-based Navigation products and services
Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals by developing direct relationships with customers and prospective customers
Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects of the various solutions offered by Naverus to address prospect’s business issues
Contribute to a database of qualified leads through referrals and other outbound sales efforts
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses that identify prospects business problems, the effects of the problems, and the Naverus solutions to their problems
Gather and submit detailed business information for pricing and presentation of solutions to identified prospects' business problems
Assist with the development, planning, and execution of a comprehensive sales forecast that meets the strategic financial objectives of the company
Present product presentations to prospects, customers, and industry associations
Attend industry tradeshows and events
Assist Vice President Sales as required
Assist others in the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Solutions departments as required
Demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment
Utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop, and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals
Interface primarily with assigned external customers for all matters concerning new parts, inside sales, and total support, ensuring that both customer and GE objectives are met
Establish, implement, and monitor the Order-Thru-Remittance (OTR) process for assigned customers
Cover all disciplines within the OTR process, including financial, contractual, and legal relations with the customer
Assume overall responsibility for customer satisfaction
Serve as primary customer interface for OTR status and/or issues pertaining to spare part procurement
Respond to all customer inquiries in a timely manner on the processing of customer orders, acknowledgements, Purchase Order amendments, and alteration notification
Clearly define and communicate problems as perceived by the customer
Maintain complete and current knowledge of the product / OTR status including future use and needs of the customer
Manage the activities of supporting organizations to ensure that technical and business problems are resolved in the balanced interest of GE and the customer
Develop and maintain a customer preference relationship toward GE
Monitor special programs and coordinate both internally and externally with the customer
Screen and analyze customer order practices looking for trends and unusual order practices
Provide liaison between Marketing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to resolve product field issues
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor degree in business, marketing, engineering, technical field or an aeronautical program and a minimum of 5 years of proven sales success in the aerospace or similar industry

Technical aviation / aerospace background
Will be expected to demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas of Naverus’ product and service offerings and develop complete understanding of Naverus’ pricing and proposal models
Motivated and self directed sales professional that operates within proper company guidelines
Exceptional written and oral communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong business work ethic, positive attitude and professional demeanor required
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Must be proficient in learning new computer applications quickly
Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals
Must be able to apply principles of logical and scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
Pilot’s license and aircraft operations experience preferred
International sales experience a plus
