Flexible pipe systems are at the exact core of NKT Flexibles’ competencies and have been since our foundation in 1999.

Since the foundation in 1999 NKT Flexibles has been operated as a joint venture between NKT Holding and Subsea 7 S.A.

NKT Flexibles develops, produces, and markets some of the strongest and most advanced flexible pipe systems in the world. Thanks to the innovative drive and several patents in the field, we make sure that oil and gas companies get their products from production site to tanker or platform quickly and safely, that island communities get clean water, and that dangerous chemicals are loaded and unloaded easily and quickly.

With 160 engineers out of 700 employees in Denmark alone NKT Flexibles is a knowhow and innovation-based company. The head office is in Denmark near Copenhagen and offices in Perth, Houston and Rio de Janeiro, and in 2013 the company is set to open another factory in Brazil.


For our client NKT Flexibles, Randstad Professionals is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Representative with in-depth knowledge of the offshore oil and gas industry. You will be based at Subsea 7’s Houston office.

Areas of responsibility

You have to identify business opportunities in the Houston offshore oil and gas industry. Establish and manage client relations and tender strategy to ensure that the opportunity to obtain worldwide, high-value work is maximized towards US-based Companies. Furthermore, you have to make sure NKT Flexibles I/S is a valued addition to Subsea 7’s Houston Office.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Provision of information from US based Companies to the various Area Sales Managers on worldwide prospects
• In conjunction with the relevant Area Sales Manager and the Tender board (CEO and Sales Director) develop Capture Plans for identified target jobs in conjunction with the relevant Area Sales Manager and the Tender board (CEO and Sales Director).
• Responsible for providing Tender Project Managers with regional and commercial background with regards to the tender
• Participate in Tender clarification and negotiation process
• Engage as “Pursuit Manager” in front-line negotiations to secure contract forward
The Regional Sales Representative has continuous authority to act to protect the interests of NKT Flexibles I/S.



Requirements:

We are looking for

You have a strong entrepreneurial approach and at least a degree from College and minimum 3 years of relevant experience from the offshore oil and gas industry.

Oral and written proficiency in Spanish would be a benefit but not a must. Available for traveling to Mexico and West Africa when required.

You have excellent skills in planning and using your time in a constructive manner. You know the value of setting priorities, and you are able to work independently as well as being a part of a team. You thrive on traveling and have a flexible attitude.
