Marketing Fan Ambassador Internship U. S. Ski & Snowboard Association The United States Ski and Snowboard Association (USSA) is seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Fan Ambassador. The Marketing and Sales Department continues to focus on recruiting and developing long-term supporters of the ski and snowboarding athletes/teams and this position will assist in this task. The individual must be committed to establishing the highest quality service to current and potential fans through all communication lines. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Build and manage fan base growth programs Coordinate all event on-site fan promotional programs relating to the Team with respect to USSA events from the USSA tent in the USSA demo village Serve as the Team liaison between current/potential fans and the Team Develop communication plan to handle fan mail Manage Facebook USSA pages (US Ski Team and US Snowboarding) Follow up emails with potential fans following every event Manage the Marketing Athlete Index (a document that keeps tabs on all athlete appearances) Responsible for informing the Marketing department of fan base status Successful candidates will fulfill all or most of the following requirements: Respect of colleagues, peers and clients based on outstanding performance Excellent leadership and management skills Positive, proactive approach to problem solving Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven track record as a team player Detail oriented and thorough Ability to work in an outdoor winter environment Excitement and enthusiasm for skiing and snowboarding Ability to travel extensively Adequate computer experience (Microsoft Word, Excel) Valid drivers license Must be at least 21 years of age Works with: Directors, Sales/Marketing/Broadcast Account Executive, USSA Corporate Marketing Compensation: Non salaried position Internship Class Credit 8-10 hours per week Season Pass to a Park City resort Contact info: Evan Miller [click on "Apply Online" button] Location: Park City, UT Compensation: See job description This is at a non-profit organization.
