We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for our Regional Sales Managers and VARs. At Circadence, Sales Engineers are responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process and post-sales support and implementation. You will work closely with your assigned Regional Sales Manager to understand the customer requirements and serve as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. You must be able to articulate our technology and product positioning to both business and technical users and must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
This position is located in our South Central Sales Region (preferably, the Dallas area) and would be responsible for provide sales engineering services to the following states: TX, AR, OK, MO, and KS. We offer a competitive salary, bonus opportunity and a full suite of benefits. Travel is required as necessary.
Specific Qualifications and Responsibilities include:
Conceptualizing and communicating to both business and technical buyers how the company products and services can impact customer opportunities
Performing customer needs assessments and eliminating sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches
Experience in network design and implementation, preferably in both LAN and WAN environments
In depth understanding of TCP, UDP and other forms of IP communications
Experience in router, firewall and switch, management/configuration
Understanding of Firewall, and other network security elements
Understanding in WAN environment types
Designing and delivering effective product presentations based on the customer’s needs
Assisting in scoping customer specifications and quotes and responding effectively to RFPs
Participating at conferences, tradeshows, and other events as required by Sales Management and Product Marketing
Providing knowledge and training on products to customers and pre-sales and sales staff in the organization
Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, functions, features and benefits
Developing and maintaining business and client contact information as these relates to product development
Revising and enhancing product manuals
Ability to convey customer requirements to our Product Management teams
Comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a technical organization with a rapidly expanding customer base
Additional Position Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years experience supporting Sales organizations in a sales engineering or pre-sales support role
Experience and familiarity of our line of business a plus Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or a related field is required.
