In this unique position you will join a highly collaborative sales team, giving you the opportunity to get out of the competitive sales scene while still enjoying the satisfaction of developing consultative solutions -- as well as earning solid sales income. The recently launched Employer Solutions division of HMS has been growing at 75% per year over the past two years and, not only will you be able to take advantage of that momentum, but as we continue to grow we'll need proven leaders to step up. Our preference is that you already have healthcare experience but, if not, this is your chance to bring your sales skills to a relatively recession-proof industry.
To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have significant business-to-business sales experience, preferably in healthcare and ideally with cost containment. You also will need a demonstrated track record at selling services in a highly consultative model. We're looking for a professional with a proven ability to develop relationships both in person and over the phone, solid negotiation skills, and a high-energy approach. In addition you will need professional maturity and a demeanor that conveys confidence and trust.
