Job Description : Development and provision of a sales strategy (key customers, prospects, DC products, market, etc.) for the industry sector branch Plastics. Monitoring of market segment trends and generation of sales initiatives. Assess market position and recommend product needs and changes necessary to meet sales and marketing objectives consistent with corporate goals. Develop and recommend pricing strategy component of product marketing mix. Coordination with Regional Sales Organization. Communicate company direction and objectives to staff. Monitor, develop and appraise employees within group. This will include: counseling employees in order to aid them in achieving their career goals taking steps to correct substandard work as it occurs appraising employees' performance at least once a year. Job Requirements : Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Minimum of 10 years industrial sales experience with at least 5 years sales management experience Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of industry and customer base in the US and relevant global environment Professional experience in application of hydraulic and electric drive & control systems Strong business development and prospecting skills Entrepreneurial drive and track record of personal initiative and professional growth Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills to effectively articulate ideas and information to clients, colleagues and others Proficiency in all MS Office applications and MS Project Travel required
