NYC’s most prestigious expanding costume jewelry manufacturing conglomerate seeks entrepreneur with 7+ years prior costume jewelry sales/merchandising industry and mass markets experience a MUST. Oversee and understand entire costume jewelry product line. Must have proven track record of sales/merchandising business to coordinate growing retail sector. Responsible for dealing with buyers from small to very large billion dollar conglomerates. Deal with existing clientele. Must be able to establish and build relationships for future business. Assist buyers in selection of merchandise, product pricing and manage and understand P&L. Oversee new and existing product lines for diverse clientele. Understand trends, styles and colors to assist buyers in selection process. Provide overall management for merchandising and private label lines. Drive products and merchant focus. Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically to deliver world class customer experience. Manage business, react to trends and plan future business direction. Must be innovated, team oriented and effective communicator. Interface and communicate with design team and distribution division. Develop and drive strategy and grow diverse costume jewelry lines as well as staying current on customer and competitor trends. Work closely with senior management as well as principals.
