SALES EXECUTIVE CONFERENCE DIVISION: Summary: marcus evans' conference division is currently seeking a business-to-business Sales Executive (this is an inside sales position) who is committed to excellence and long-term employment. Your primary responsibility will be to communicate effectively with top-level, decision-making executives, in order to provide them with the opportunity to attend a leading industry event. As a marcus evans Sales Executive, you will be responsible for building a client base by contacting C-level, executive decision makers, in addition to cultivating and maintaining long-term relationships with them. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to articulately explain the complete benefits of attending our conferences, including describing the numerous opportunities to access leading-edge business solutions and information, which then enables them to sustain a valuable competitive business advantage over their competition; during some of the world's most prestigious executive-level business and economic sector-based conference events. In order to prepare you for this exciting career, you will take part in our comprehensive training program, which will focus on product knowledge, developing proven, effective sales skills and business development tools. Core Competencies / Skills: Excellent verbal communications skills. Ability to identify qualified, prospective clients and develop loyal customer relationships via telephone within an assigned market. Develop/build your own client base utilizing proven sales techniques including: Internet research, prospecting, probing, lead generation, cold calling and closing. Consistently being able to persuade the customer into a "positive" buying commitment decision "closing" skills. Able to clearly present the customer with the key benefits of attending the event, while also focusing on the customer's individual needs. You are not intimidated by the challenge of contacting top, executive-level decision makers. You should be self-motivated and commission driven. Demonstrate drive, persistence and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. Ability to function independently in a team environment. Having previous successful experience in an inside sales environment (is a definite asset). However, candidates who indicate a strong desire to develop their sales skills in order to succeed in a corporate sales environment will also be considered.
