Reporting to the VP Sales and Marketing, this position is proactive in executing sales strategies to sustain manageable growth for this manufacturing organization. A strong conceptual thinker and well versed in the consultative selling process, this individual has the ability to recognize opportunities, identify risks, provide technical solutions and consider multiple business factors when weighing the merits of alternative strategies. Summary of Responsibilities: - Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies which fit within organizations core competencies. - Implement and consistently exceed yearly and quarterly sales forecasts to budget. - Solid project management and organizational skills - Travel to existing customer's and potential customer's to establish a partnering relationship. - Skillful at all levels of communications and presentations. - Encourages team spirit, communication, and innovation and quality services. - Participate in trade shows when required. - Analyze RFQs (Request for Quote) to determine if the organization will be quoting, and co-ordinate with estimating department. - Assist in quotation when necessary. - Develop positive business relationships through the organization and with customers. - Plans and manages the flow of work, time management and effective resource utilization. - Priorities and recommendations to other support groups for continuous improvements. - Profitability of new quotations and business. - Provides vision or insight, principles-boundary conditions for customers and internally - Adapts to change. - Sets direction and strategy of how you carry out your work with guidance from the VP Sales and Marketing. - Provide guidance and assistance to staff and developing a smooth transition between sales and production. - Ensure sales objectives are met in terms of profitability and growth Minimum Job Requirements: - Degree in Commerce, Diploma in Business or equivalent experience - Qualified candidates will have at least 5 - 10 years conducting strategic sales in a manufacturing environment. - Must be seasoned sales representative with well developed sales skills and closing ability - Excellent organizational skills - Consistent record of achievement within a profitable growth manufacturing environment - Capable to address customer technical needs in sales process - Must be a mature professional and team player with well developed people and communication skills - Must be an energetic, creative, hands-on individual, multi-tasking to meet deadlines - Strong analytical and decision making skills are required If this describes the opportunity you are looking for - APPLY NOW.
