The Federal Software Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving/exceeding annual revenue goals set for the allocated territory through direct sales. The Federal Software Sales Executive will be responsible for planning and executing a strategy designed to leverage existing success to penetrate new target accounts and grow the Federal market. Territory: US Federal Accounts, Including Defense, Intelligence & Civilian Sector. Responsibilities: Effectively develop and manage a diversified pipeline of Federal Accounts yielding predictable revenue that meets or exceed allocated quota. Develop a focused time phased business plan with targeted accounts or programs to enable a rapid ramp up. Assist marketing in development and execution of Federal specific programs. Work closely with the sales engineering team to assess customer requirements (e.g. opportunity scoping, POC preparation, pilot design & Statements of Work Proposals) Negotiate contracts and close new business deals Forecast transparently Category: Sales - General
