Requirements:
Responsibilities:
• Focus on achieving gross sales targets and product margin targets • Manage a portfolio of existing account and increase overall sales and gross margin contribution • Expand portfolio of accounts by adding new accounts • Call on existing customer job sites, industrial and head offices within defined territory • Cold call new customers, job sites, industrial and head offices within defined territory • Support other sales rep customers that are working within geographic area • Develop and maintain relationships with all key customer contacts • Quote customers on product needs • Interact with branches and staff on procurement as required • Provide market and competitive information (product and service opportunities, competitor strengths and weaknesses). • Effectively track customer calls and applicable follow up opportunities • Submit weekly/monthly sales reports • Other duties and responsibilities as required in the position.
Experience / Knowledge Required:
Minimum 2 yearsof outside sales experience Positive attitude, top notch work ethic and a team player Proven sales performance, high energy and highly motivate individual with strong customer focus Excellent oral and written communication skills Solid organizational and time management skills Strategic thinker with the capacity to adapt to difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
