We have been retained to search for professionals to fill the position of Senior Director of Convenience Food. The position will be located in the United States retail headquarters in Carlisle, ition Purpose: Collaboratively lead all company retail food service development in order to support new and existing products and programs to meet both the business and customers' needs through a best in class food service offering. The Senior Director, Convenience Food will play a key leadership role in launching new products/initiatives, developing on-going product development strategy and managing the day-to-day operations. Position will design the future long range business plan for all aspects of the convenience food area including designing, developing, and managing a restaurant focused business model. Specific emphasis placed on central & in-store production methods. Manage the strategic component designed to shift business from the food service industry and grow market share. In addition to leading all aspects of convenience food development at the organization, this person will also strategically lead, direct, design, and approve category management business plans/portfolio plans for the convenience food area. Provide inspirational leadership by driving merchandising strategy, development, implementation of merchandising plans, and pricing strategy. Drive business insights and strategy while achieving or exceeding budgeted financial results and support the Company's efforts to become a shopper driven organization. Position Accountabilities: Sales & Merchandising Strategy - Develop long-term strategy both strategic and tactical, for profitable department's) growth. Inspirational leadership and strategic orientation to include:Category management including card marketing and CCRCorporate brandsStore department(s)/format development with unique shopping experience and cafe ambianceOperational excellence - Development of SOPs and SOOsDepartment contributionCorporate social responsibilityVendor management and relations Food Service Acumen - In-depth understanding of the food service segment in order to provide educated recommendations to management and department heads on direction of new programs Collaborate closely with R&D, Corporate brands, Merchandising, Product Development Divisional leadership to drive new product / program quality Creation of overall food service experience and create a unique in-store experience with cafe ambience Work across key divisions to reach agreement on initiatives while keeping other departments informedSolve issues on projects in cooperation and collaboration with other divisionsCultivate effective business relationships with management, customers and peers Department Business Functions - Oversee and direct the management of product categories thru portfolio and category management business planningOversee the process between merchandising and supply chain Develop strategy to achieve or exceed working capital goalsOversee the development of the short and long term merchandising plans in the stores to influence, displays and other merchandising initiativesServe as Executive Sponsor of the departments advisory group (stores, suppliers)Own corporate brand developme Category: Sales - General
