For the past 100 years, our Client has been manufacturing corrugated steel pipe, steel product for bridges, tunnels, and soil retention systems along with corrugated high density polyethylene pipe for drainage and storm sewer application. They are in continuous growth and are now seeking a Sales Representative who will be responsible for the promotion, sales, and servicing of products to all potential customers.   The Sales Representative will report directly to the Sales Director. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Achievement of company sales goals and profitability. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with potential and existing clients. Grow revenue by hunting, qualifying and closing new customers. Increase revenue from existing accounts through customer development. Key account management of current corporate clients. Completion and submission of monthly/quarterly sales reports. Your Profile/Competencies: 5+ years of proven sales success within the construction industry Post-secondary education **CET would be an asset** Strong relationship builder with a strong customer focus A true hunter that gets energized by cold calling prospective new customers Exceptional consultative sales skills and extensive knowledge of the selling process Superior and compelling sales presentation skills Solid time management and organizational skills to ensure focus on value-added sales activities Excellent communication skills Highly effective problems solving skills A proactive self-starter who can operate as part of a team and individually. Proficient with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) Compensation/Benefits: Competitive base plus commissions.   First year target will be in the $70K range depending on experience.   Other benefits include a vehicle, strong benefit package and expenses.
