| Our client located in Ottawa is currently seeking a Sales Specialist to join their team. The sales specialist will focus on developing multi market business in a given territory for all the company's engineered products and solutions by calling on engineering firms and contractors. Responsibilities: Promote to sell company products, concepts and services to prospect, specifiers, buyers, distributors and users Research and report marketplace and competitive information for sales strategy planning and review Develop and implement suitable promotion plans, with help and approval of your manager, such as group presentations, regional shows, training seminars, branch visits and installation tours. Comply with pricing guidelines or make recommendations for special pricing for your manager's approval. Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of outside industrial sales experience. HVAC, industrial building products, mining, oil, municipal, or pipe, valves, and fitting industry. Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with contractors, owners, and distributors to build long term relationships. Engineering or technical degree.
