Sales trainer position based out of corporate office will work closely with identical counterpart to provide training and development for new hires and seasoned sales reps to develop skills and product knowledge necessary to be successful.
Key Responsibilities include: - Deliver/teach curricula for all Initial, Advanced and Revision Sales Schools. - Evaluate training programs, curricula and corresponding training materials for Initial, Advanced and Revision Sales Schools. - Through effective data analysis determine knowledge and skill gap/needs assessment and identify existing gaps, reasons for these gaps and training solutions - Apply instructional design principles and adult learning models to enhance content delivery - Proactively conduct on-going communications with key stakeholders to identify training needs and develop specific training objectives to meet those needs - Design and implement metrics to measure sales training program's appropriateness, effectiveness and product impact. - Work with vendors within budget and timelines
Qualifications/Work Experience
Qualifications/Work Experience - - 3-5 years medical device, pharmaceutical, or other biomechanical sales experience; demonstrated success in assigned territory - 3 years sales training experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry - Demonstrated proficiency in adult learning theories, group behavior, motivational theories, selling techniques, and communication techniques - Proven track record of developing talent in a fast paced environment - Organize, facilitate and continually improve training, meetings and the deployment of new materials - Strong written and oral communication skills - Strong organizational and planning skills - Strong classroom management, coaching and feedback skills with the ability to relate to the students. Must be flexible and a team player. - Demonstrate the ability to work with vendors within budget and time constraints - Demonstrated ability to develop and influence others
Education and/or Special Training
Bachelor's Degree in adult education, businss or other relevant field of study.
