We are currently seeking a Sales and Training Manager to train the national sales team on in-home sales for water filtration products. Additional duties include:
Train all new/existing sales and customer service representatives, and installer partners on the product/service portfolio. Demonstrate expert/master knowledge and experience with the most current theories and practices in a related discipline and a thorough knowledge of more than one related discipline. Supervise 3M PI sales reps. Provide sales advice and consults with leadership team to set short-term strategic direction and operating plans for a typically small to medium complex market/product line(s). Determine directions, priorities and assigns resources with full accountability for results of functional area. Be responsible for establishing and managing sales targets for assigned customers/area(s)/product line(s). Identify and define market/product opportunities to meet sales and growth objectives Posses and communicate In-depth knowledge of 3M's business areas, structure, and organization, as well as of the external market (competitors, trends, etc.). Use leadership and supervisory skills necessary for managing people, such as: knowledge of employment law, knowledge of corporate/location policies and procedures, effective communications, performance appraisal procedures, performance management, hiring and interviewing, documentation, interpersonal skills, coaching skills, change management, conflict resolution, delegation, goal setting, motivation, emotional intelligence, strategic planning.
Qualifications
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. Minimum of 7 years of work experience in water filtration in home sales/service is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree Sales/marketing experience in U.S. residential water industry.
