Salesforce Administrator – Sales Team

Salesforce Administrator – Sales Team



Job Description:

The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Sales team’s salesforce needs. The Salesforce Administrator will interact with internal stakeholders to understand their needs in order to administer and enhance the system accordingly. This individual will also collaborate with the Company’s Salesforce Support team to promote companywide adoption and integration of progressive Salesforce processes into the everyday business cycle. 

Responsibilities of Salesforce Administrator – Sales Team:

  • Support Sales Department Salesforce users and act as the primary point of contact and support for these users
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to continuously monitor data quality and integrity
  • Maintain sales related app exchange applications and third party software
  • Integrate data from multiple sources and systems to generate routine or ad hoc reports
  • Participate with cross functional teams to address strategic business issues involving CRM and sales operations 
  • Audit, uncover and resolve data integrity issues
  • Complete bulk imports of data
  • Resolve technical and functional support issues
  • Communicate Salesforce updates and modifications to sales team end-users
  • Develop, implement and maintain training materials and Sales Department Salesforce documentation
  • Participate in the onboarding process and train Sales Team personnel on new features and existing functionality

    Requirements of Salesforce Administrator: 

  • Bachelor’s Degrees in a technical or business-related discipline
  • 1 to 2 years experience as a Systems Administrator 
  • Experience working with databases and basic programming skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within sales team and across business units
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to present information clearly and effectively and interact with a team of diverse colleagues
  • Commitment to strong customer support
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving capabilities 
  • Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and handling multiple tasks/priorities 
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Salesforce administrator certification is a plus 
  • Experience in a sales team environment a plus
