Our client, a tier-1 VC funded company, sells performance-priced engagement ads which get distributed among the largest social platforms on the Internet. They serve the new "people as publishers" mantra in the social media space, work with top Fortune 50 brands and the Internet’s top social media websites.
We are assisting our client with a search for a Senior Account Executive. This position is based out of Chicago.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute an ad sales strategy with the goal to drive significant revenue and establish leadership within the social media category
As business grows interview, hire, train and build a sales team
Build, manage and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies and partners
Identify, pitch and close new business based sales approach
Work with management and the marketing team to continue to develop and enhance sales messaging and collateral
Requirements
MUST HAVE - at least 3-years experience in online advertising sales
MUST HAVE - strong contacts at west coast top-tier interactive agencies and a Rolodex that carries a wide range of contacts at brand advertisers
MUST HAVE - a strong understanding of the digital media space and social media
MUST HAVE - BA or BS degree
