Senior Manager, Inside Sales (Austin, TX)


Responsibilities:

The primary role of the Sr. Manager, Inside Sales is to effectively manage a district of 12 Inside Sales Reps who manage $28 million + of business consisting of small, mid and large companies.  The Sr. Manager Inside Sales is responsible for meeting all objectives including sales, margin, and retention.  The Sr. Manager, Inside Sales is responsible for hands-on coaching to develop sales skills that will ensure that reps increase share of wallet and grow sales.  Sr. Manager, Inside Sales takes a lead role in identifying the critical success factors that will help motivate and guide all inside sales representatives in their daily activities. 
The Sr. Manager, Inside Sales is expected to lead with integrity, by adhering to ethical standards of personal conduct and business rules when making decisions or executing tasks and incorporating quality considerations into decision making.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
4 to 7 years of experience in related field

Additional qualifications and skills:
Extensive sales management experience
Experience developing business relationships and developing the skills of other associates
In depth knowledge of MS Office products, (CRM system a plus).

Strong proven track record of building, developing and managing strategic customer relationships.
Ability to successfully manage large projects
Ability to effectively train sales professionals with varying experience and competency levels.
Proven track record of staffing, developing and managing an aggressive, effective sales force with a high customer relationship focus
Demonstrated ability to establish and meet aggressive sales goals, to grow a business, and to interface effectively and synergistically with internal and external customers
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to manage a rapidly growing business
Outstanding Oral, Written and Presentation Skills

Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participate in the development and execution of the sales and margin plan
Hire, train and motivate staff to grow revenue within the Inside Sales Group
Provide training, coaching, and technical assistance to the sales force resulting in increased customer penetration and growth
Work with relevant internal and external partners
Stay in tune with the changing demands of the marketplace and provide management with recommendations for assortment and service enhancement
