Senior Sales Executive
Our client, a company that is funded by Tier 1 VC partners and prominent angel investors, is one of the largest online video ad networks that generates enormous value for their advertiser, agency and publisher partners alike. By utilizing breakthrough proprietary technology that ensures precision targeting, real-time optimization and brand protection, our client generates engagement and value throughout the entire video-viewing experience. Partners include more than 1,000 premium and niche sites.
We are assisting our client with a search for a Senior Sales Executive. This position is based out of Chicago and reports into the CRO who is based in New York.
Responsibilities:
Target and develop new national accounts from specific categories – targeted to top digital ad spenders, video advertisers and broadcast spenders
Evaluate specific categories/geographies and marketplace trends in order to identify prospective accounts that match our client's video offering.
Work closely with internal teams to create opportunities for advertisers and agencies across multiple video offerings
Ensure that the company is well positioned vs all competitors
Represent the company at events/shows including direct and non direct to the industry
Drive business from the top level down and sell opportunities, not merely positioning the company for buys.
Requirements:
MUST HAVE - at least 3-years of national online advertising sales experience selling to top-tier digital advertising agencies and clients
Strong communication skills to convey programs and creative advertising opportunities
Successful building long term relationships with agencies and national advertising clients
An entrepreneurial approach to business that partners with clients
Strong understanding of advertising technologies and/or ad networks
