JOB OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking highly qualified sales professionals with the proven ability to interface and consult with the top management at Fortune 1000 companies. Candidates must have a track record of developing executive level business relationships leading to outstanding results in selling value-add services and strategic outsourcing engagements. This person must also be proficient with identifying, engaging and closing service engagement agreements with prospective customers and must be viewed as an industry and subject matter expert. Candidates must also show an in depth understanding of emerging e-business technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary objective of the new business development executive is to grow the business volume by aggressively identifying and closing Managed Services (Outsourcing) Engagements within Fortune 1000 companies. This position is perfect for a business development specialist who is a "hunter" in their approach to developing new accounts and understands the business justifications of Outsourcing the IT functions such as Help desk, PC/Network support, Infrastructure and Data Center. Candidates must have previous experience and proven success selling Managed ITO Services.
QUALIFICATIONS: The qualified candidate must possess each of the following specific experience criteria:
• Sells Company managed ITO services to local and/or national accounts through sales calls and sales presentations to prospective customers. This includes interacting directly with the customer, determining the customer needs, and evaluating sales potential. • Establishes, maintains, and coordinates an effective partnership with the client. Quotes service bids, and makes value-added sales proposals to potential customers. • Acts as a liaison between the customer and the company to resolve issues and close sales. • Meets individual sales quota within an assigned area and/or accounts, and maintains a client base by selling services and/or products to potential customers. • Maintains knowledge of company services and new technology available on the market in order to compete effectively in the market. • Has broad business knowledge, strategic planning skills, financial management skills, and thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings and strategies. • Evaluates customer needs, and identifies the proper resources to accomplish the goal. • Responsible for growing sales revenue for managed ITO services. Responsible for growing targeted markets. • Responsible for closing sales and utilizing cross-functional assistance as needed, i.e., Consulting, Marketing and Proposal Services, etc.
