THE COMPANY:The San Antonio Talons are a member of the Arena Football League andwill host their season at the Alamodome in downtown San Antonio to accommodate large crowds from across Central and South Texas.
THE POSITION: The San Antonio Talons are looking for an energetic, professional and self motivated Sponsorship Services Manager to execute the Company's partnership programs. This includes facilitating all communication between the partners, sponsors, members and prospects and the Talons staff, as well as managing and tracking contract fulfillment.
SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in developing and maintaining the sponsorship base.
Maintain accurate records of each account by documenting communication and tracking details of element fulfillment as it progresses.
Build relationships with Clients through frequent communication.
Collect information throughout the year including any exposure the Sponsors receive as a result of their sponsorship.
Assist in the planning and execution of any special event that is geared toward the Sponsors.
Serve as relationship manager for corporate Sponsors to ensure effective implementation of sponsorship.
Work closely with marketing, public relations, legal and finance teams to develop proposals.
Manage database of Sponsor / Client contacts and prospects.
Assist in developing annual budget / forecast strategy and plan for Sponsor development.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three years proven, successful track record in revenue generation and/or sponsorship development.
Strong ability to identify opportunities, build business programs and develop account strategies.
Excellent client relations background.
Knowledge/expertise with revenue generation and/or event sponsorship.
SPECIFIC SKILL SETS / INTANGIBLES TO PURSUE:
Excellent oral / written communication skills.
Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
Advanced knowledge of Arena Football League rules and regulations.
Willingness to work hard on a daily basis, handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment..
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Independent self-starter, with the ability to think and plan strategically.
Strong ability to work well with co-workers and supervisors in a team environment.
Professional image and demeanor.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
