Sr. Account Director
We’re RALLY Marketing Group. We’re a group of tenacious, creative, and adaptable hard-working marketing, advertising and event production professionals who create experiences that inspire people to become customers of great brands.
We are currently seeking a seasoned agency Sr. Account Director to join our team that will serve as a key strategic partner with a rapidly expanding client. The Account Director will work cross functionally as well as with client contacts to research, plan, and manage strategic programs and experiences that effectively drive traffic through the door of this national brand.
Along the way, the Sr. Account Director is expected to build trust and confidence with the client and communicate their goals, needs and expectations to appropriate internal RALLY groups. All usual client-management duties apply, i.e. juggling multiple priorities, putting out daily fires, managing expectations internally and externally, and instilling confidence in the agency and its’ capabilities.
Principle Accountabilities:
Provide strategic counsel to clients including defining annual goals and objectives
Understand and manage to P&L, including contract and scope of work development
Manage day-to-day implementation of a variety of activities including team management and development in order to ensure quality work meets/exceeds client expectations
Ensures team is successful with timely execution of all projects, programs, events and campaigns
Partner with Executive Sponsor and business development to identify new business opportunities
Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success
Promptly address client issues/concerns through internal management of account team
Collaborate with creative team to facilitate creative execution remains on strategy, and provide strong brand stewardship
Partner with Integrated Marketing Director, IT (analytics and reporting), Operations, and other agency services team members to develop program strategies
Structures and leads key client meetings, including but not limited to, status meetings, quarterly reviews, and program recaps; represents agency at client meetings
Abbreviated list of requirements:
College degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is strongly preferred
5 years product, project or account management experience is required
Must be proficient with a PC and have at least intermediate level Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills
Must be organized, detail-oriented and possess strong interpersonal skills
Must be flexible, outgoing, goal-oriented, be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to work with diverse groups of individuals in sometimes stressful environments
Must possess strong communication and presentation skills
Travel up to 30% of the time may be required (including evening, weekend and holiday work)
