Our client, is a leading National Purchasing Organization(GPO) for healthcare, they have an immediate opening for a Senior Director to service their members and clients. This unique opportunity enables you to manage and build/deepen relationships between our client and their team of physicians. They are building their team and need strong Clinical Executives.

DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the management and regional performance of our clients Physician Preference program.  Develop coordinated key marketing strategies to increase customer awareness and cost saving opportunities. Identify, develop and implement procedures to improve effectiveness and contract utilization.  Contributes to strategic initiatives.

Requirements:
-Graduate of a four-year college with a degree in business administration, marketing, or its equivalent required.    An advanced degree or equivalent is preferred. 
-Eight years experience in GPO, Medical/Surgical Distribution, hospital or combination.
-Knowledge in business management, marketing, and sales.
-Minimum seven (7) years health care experience & demonstrated leadership experience with product launches, project facilitation and implementation; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and working knowledge of all functions. within the acute care and non-acute care setting with emphasis on medical/surgical products. 
-Previous experience with direct contracting, purchasing, or business experience would be preferred. 
-Must be able to work independently, organize, solve problems, and make independent judgments. 
-Computer skills should include Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and electronic mail systems. 
-Presentation and meeting facilitation skills required.
-Ability to coordinate and manage multiple membership relationships and moderate day and overnight travel required.
