Job Description
Position is responsible for analysis, planning and forecasting results for Medical Products Global manufacturing operations. This position interfaces with senior mfg operations management as well as mfg plant personnel worldwide. Key focus areas include mfg variations, capital spending, other cost of sales, mfg staff support, balance sheet/cash flow and std cost analysis. Position supports global mfg and operational initiatives as a part of the overall organization's strategies. Projects with financial analysis are performed to provide recommendations and drive processes globally. Process efficiencies and improvements are part of regular activities and are shared through the entire Global Mfg network.
Job Requirements
qualifications:
•Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
•Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
•Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment.
•Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally.
•Working knowledge of PC applications and systems (ie. Excel, Cognos, JDE).
•Strong analytical skills with familiarity with accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
•Detail oriented.
•Ability to manage tasks concurrently• Owns career and is accountable for managing own development. Key Finance Competencies:
•Financial Analysis and Decision Support
•Business Performance Management
•Accounting and Reporting Integrity Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or country equivalent). Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 4 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting.
