The Senior Manager, Business Sales is responsible for implementing the strategic goals of the Business Sales Channel with a principal focus on the support of the National and Strategic (Enterprise) Accounts Team. The Sr. Sales Manager has the primary responsibility of directly managing a team of 6-8 Sr. Business Development Managers. Our Business Development Team implements solution-based sales strategies and uncovers new business contract opportunities within Fortune 1000 Enterprise accounts based in the region. Drive new contract acquisition, sim growth, and ensure all Sr. Development Managers meet and exceed all sales, operational, and performance objectives by providing training, development and coaching. The Sr. Manager, Business Sales will also drive initiatives that will enhance the Business Sales internal/external customer experience, have direct interaction with Sales Leadership, Sales Staff, and Customers and maintain Cross-Channel relationships.
Position Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 6-8 Sr. Business Development Managers selling wireless data and voice services to large national and enterprise Business Customers. Team will proactively sell products and services to gain new business through prospecting, cold-calling, networking and generating leads and referrals.
Focus on driving voice and data solutions using the T-Mobile network to achieve distribution goals, sales targets and customer retention objectives. Ensure they meet/exceed Contract acquisition and gross activation goals. Implements and executes with excellence all sales strategies, programs and services to further enhance T-Mobile's position in the Enterprise marketplace
Sell T-Mobile's existing wireless voice and data solutions and help launch a new array of fixed-mobile convergence solutions in the region. Build and maintain strategic relationships with high-level buying influencers in key customer accounts.
Fully utilize all sales force automation, funnel management and prospecting tools. Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting. Ensure all internal departments have fulfilled responsibilities to bring new national customers on-board.
Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, evaluating, and supervising the Sr. Business Development Managers and maintaining appropriate staffing levels to achieve balance between new contracts, gross activation, CPGA & sales productivity goals.
Position Requirements:
Functional & Technical Skills:
Superior professional selling, prospecting, funnel and account management skills
Proficiency in windows-based software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
4 Yrs Outside business-to-business sales experience, in a commissioned quota driven environment, with a proven track record of success.
1-2 Yrs Experience in wireless telecommunications
4 Yrs Experience in developing presentations and presenting to senior level executives
Competencies:
Excellent communication and public speaking skills.
Strong customer relations and negotiation skills required.
Strong ability to lead and guide decision making in business solutions
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of building winning teams and implementing sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
Must have a valid Drivers license and satisfactory driving record and proof of insurance
Outstanding leadership skills; a strategic business leader able to align with company's culture and values.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Travel Requirements:
Approximate 30% of time traveling
Ability to work in field majority of the day calling on clients/working with sales team. Must have and maintain valid drivers license and insurance
