Sr. Product Manager, MES Products
• Develop business growth strategy and execution plan for our Batch & MES products.
• Coordinate all operational activities required to successfully grow the business including identifying improvement in existing products, develop new products and integrate products.
• Assist in executing high impact product launches by ensuring overall organizational readiness across appropriate functional groups - R&D, marketing, sales, sales operations, services, customer support, training, finance, and IT. • Develop comprehensive business strategies based on product and market assessment and customer analysis • Provide business leadership by articulating the product vision and business case to senior management. • Work with Product Marketing to ensure successful roll out of new capabilities and offerings
• Interface with Product Operations Management to ensure all changes in product lists, BOMs, configurations, pricing, etc. are communicated so that these groups can maintain consistent operational execution. • Work with professional services group and partners to develop tight alignment on our deployment strategy • Validate, analyze and manage product line business data, including pipeline and forecast reporting, to support effective product and business decision making.
• Work with customer advisory groups to determine strategic and tactical roadmap requirements.
• Develop business use cases for R&D to ensure development meets the product enhancement objectives.
• Work within the Rational Unified Process (RUP) and Agile methodologies of development to meet requirements for each phase.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in software product management/business development/professional services or a combination
Experience must include Management, Design, Development and/or Deployment of MES solutions for the Pharmaceutical and/or Specialty Chemicals Industries
Demonstrable experience, knowledge and understanding of:
Key manufacturing processes & workflows in Pharmaceutical/Spec Chem. Including Weigh & Dispense, Genealogy, IPC etc.
Batch Processes, control systems and execution systems
Standards including S88, S95, MESA
GAMP, Validation practices and Regulations per 21 CFR Part 11
Experience working with software R&D organizations to develop products
Proven analytical skills, articulate and clear speaking and writing skills.
Demonstrated ability in the areas of planning, organizing, prioritizing, negotiating, and communication.
Demonstrated ability of being decisive, demonstrate sound judgment, and be self-directed, highly motivated, and detail oriented.
Demonstrated ability of working collaboratively with all levels and functions within Company's Marketing, R&D, Product Marketing, Business Consulting, Sales and Corporate functions / organizations.
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Computer Science, MBA degree or equivalent preferred.
