Statistician/ Statistical Analyst Job Title: Statistical Analyst

Duties:
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, and enhancing a library of R scripts for various statistical analysis.
The candidate will also apply his/her analytical skill sets to import, clean, transform, validate or model data, to develop, test and analyze hypothesis using data ranging from microarray experiments to marketing surveys.
The candidate will also be involved in developing other softwares using Java, C++/C#.
Skills required:
Expert knowledge and experience of the R language is essential.
In depth understanding of the concepts, underline assumptions, limitations, applications of various probability testing algorithms (t-test, Fisher exact, proportional, chi-square, binomial, hypergeometric, non-parametric), paired analysis, False Discovery rate analysis, machine learning (supervised and unsupervised), clustering analysis (hierarchical, k-means, etc), regression analysis.
Education:
Masters or Ph.D. in quantitative discipline (math, statistics, computer science, physics, etc).
5+ years of experience in both statistical analysis and R programming.
