Reporting Relationships:
The Student Engagement Representative will report to aDirector of Admissions. The Director of Admissions reports to a Vice President of Admissions.

Responsibilities:
The Student Engagement Representative is a phenomenal position for career-minded and goal-oriented individuals to experience an entrepreneurial, values-driven culture; a rapidly growing business driven by societal and educational trends; a robust and defined career path; and most importantly, the opportunity to positively impact the lives of aspiring students and their communities.

Other responsibilities include:

* Responding to multiple students through click-to-chat inquires per pre-determined time metrics


* Conversing with students through various communication channels from phone to social media and email


* Transfer the students' information to the correct campuses to ensure follow-up


* Manage multiple sites and screens while effectively communicating with one or more students.


* Maintains up to date information on Rasmussen's products, services and competition


* Conduct internal and external quality assessments


* Effective verbal and communication skills


* Ability to toggle between multiple applications


* Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned



Requirements:

* Associate's or Bachelor's degree desired but not required


* Ability to multitask, especially with chatting to multiple students at the same time without decreased quality in response necessary


* Strong communication and customer services skills required; some sales ability encouraged.


* Ability to type a minimum of 40 words per minute


* One to three years experience working in customer service or sales.


* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as with social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter


* Must have good command of the English language, in both oral and written form


* A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential
