Design and direct the implementation of cross-functional teams to establish a world class supply base which supports manufacturing strategies and business unit’s product roadmaps.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Approve negotiations of strategic material supply agreements.
Develop a cost reduction and supplier allocation system.
Direct the evaluation of industry supply trends.
Staff, manage, and mentor the professional development of commodity analyst direct reports.
Implement a process of commodity benchmarking competitive products.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
3-5 direct reports. No subordinate supervisors.
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience and previous supervisory experience. MBA preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
NAPM or equivalent degree.
