Tutors with Computers, LLC, a government fundedServiceprovider, is seeking Academic Coaches tomake phone call to students and assist in an after school, technology-based reading comprehension program. This is awork from homeposition where you willprovide updated information to the students and offer them the encouragement they need to succeed.
Position Responsibilities: · Offer motivation and encouragement to students to increase activity level. Provide technical support to students experiencing issues with their learning tools. The perfect candidate must have a sincere desire to help at-risk students achieve proficiency in academic skills resulting in a high quality education. You must also maintain confidentiality of all information in accordance with the Federal Education Rights and Privacy Act. · This position will be required to comply with the ethics standards to which all government funded Service providers are held.
Required Skills and Experience: · Experience using Excel and/or Google spreadsheets · Technical support experience · Excellent verbal communication skills · Have a home PC with reliable high speed internet connection · Phone with unlimited long distance · Bilingual (Spanish) preferred · Must be able to pass comprehensive fingerprint background check · Ability to work evenings and weekendhours of:Monday-Friday 4:00pm - 9:30 pm CST, Saturday 10:00am - 3:00pm CST, & Sunday 10:00 - to 3:00pm CST · $10.00 per Hour
