VP Music and Youth Ad Sales
MTVN is looking for a senior sales executive to join the team and help to continue to grow the portfolio of advertisers. The VP of sales will be a senior member of the channel, working with counter parts in Programming, Marketing and Integrated Marketing to ensure that we meet client objectives and exceed sales goals.
The qualified candidate will be an aggressive executive who has experience and existing relationships with senior level clients as well as in the agency/media buying community and who thrives in working in a non-traditional media environment.
Job Description
Set strategic direction for short term and long term advertising/sponsorship sales effort and function as senior sales person reaching out to new and existing clients to secure additional revenues
Generate revenue that meets or exceeds MTVN budgets/business plan
Lead the MTVN sales staff and work closely with other MTVN channel ad sales heads to identify opportunities for joint efforts, up sell and cross sell
Manage the overall sales figures and budgets for the channel
Lead upfront and scatter negotiations with agencies/clients.
