Disney's Fantasy Ship to Combine Classic 1930's Design with Disney Magic

Posted by

If you ever wanted to work on a resort cruise line and liked the idea of Disneyland's magic, you might be tempted to work on the new Fantasy, Disney Cruise Line's spectacular fourth ship.

Scheduled for its maiden voyage in April 2012, the Fantasy will sail out of Port Canaveral on seven-night Caribbean itineraries, which will alternate between the Eastern Caribbean (St. Maarten and St. Thomas) and Western Caribbean (Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel). Both itineraries include a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.

Thanks to Disney, cruise line careers take on a whole new dimension. The Disney Fantasy will feature magical children’s areas, world-class entertainment, magnificent dining, retreats for adults, and immersive experiences for guests of all ages with beloved Disney Characters and stories.

Catering to singles, couples and families, this innovative vessel will take guests back to the golden age of cruising with its classic design. Yet the ship will be packed with state-of-the-art features, including interior staterooms with virtual portholes that give guests real-time views of the outside of the ship.

Guests will relax poolside catching the sun's rays at Donald's pool. Kids can immerse themselves in activities at the kids clubs, or enjoy AquaDuck, the thrilling water coaster at sea. And adults can be pampered head to toe with a body treatment at the Senses Spa.

The Fantasy will offer a variety of dining options, Broadway caliber musical shows, daily and evening entertainment, and, of course, plenty of cruise ship career opportunities for job seekers.
