Account Rep- Renal Care (Oklahoma City/ Kansas) Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States Requisition #: 20000F7H Post Date: Oct 15, 2020 Careers That Change Lives Renal Care Solutions: This role is responsible for meetingsales growth requirements, increasing marketing share and developing keyclinical relationships with top hospital and renal access centers for the RCSportfolio. You will be responsible for selling newly acquired PTA Balloon,dialysis catheters and Mahukar acute Catheters. A Day in the Life: + Meet and exceed assigned sales quotaand sales objectives + Build consultative relationships with interventionalradiologists, interventional nephrologists and vascular surgeons as wellas supply chain and maintain positive working relationships + Travel within assigned territory to call on customerbase + Maintain active, in-person presence at top accounts + Identify new business opportunities, generate leads,close new business and convert accounts from competitive products andupgrade current base customers + Professionally drive a sense of urgency in accounts toincrease purchasing decision time + Effectively manage sales pipeline utilizing ~~~ andconsistent communication with Region Management and marketing team + Present product features and benefits to clinical callpoints utilizing proper sales technique (probing, qualifying, needsassessment, supporting and closing) + Master all products and applications, presentproposals, negotiate pricing + Complete all administrative tasks including weekly callreports, expense reports, new business forms, ~~~, market feedback,etc. + In-service accounts by demonstrating product applications,functionality and use + Attend and participate in sales meetings, trainingprograms, conventions and trade shows as directed. Attend all regional,divisional and sector events including National Sales Meetings, AdvancedCorporate Training (ACT), Region Meetings + Maintain required activity level - followingestablished guidelines for number of calls / day, # products presented/account and # contacts/account + Assist customers with backorders and other relatedservice issues + Responsible for obtaining and keeping up-to-daterecords for vaccinations, TB tests, flu shots and other medicalcredentials required by the hospitals in your territory DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS: + Organize and maintain storagelocker, samples and other sales material + Utilize technology and data to analyze territory,effectively target accounts and pre-call planning + Maintain knowledge of the current industry /competitive landscape, including GPO's, healthcare economics,reimbursement, competitors and competitive products, etc. + Interact with North America sales and marketing team,Customer Service and other internal departments + Resolve customer complaints in accordance with Companypolicy and advises sales management promptly of any situation beyond theSales Representative's authority Must Have: Minimum Requirements + Bachelors degree required + Minimum of 7 years of sales experience and expert level knowledge of company products and services Nice to Have + Dialysissales success strongly preferred or IR/OR sales success + Experiencewith clinical therapies and highly skilled call points (surgical,interventionalist, etc) in multiple care settings is required + Experience in the kidneydisease space or with chronic disease management + Abilityto establish strong KOL relationshipsthat can support current andfuture marketing initiatives + Abilityto travel domestically and within region often involving overnight staysand stays up to one week in duration About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
