Account Representative

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Account Manager in the metal fabrication industry in Hawthorne, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, building relationships, and ensuring efficient communication across various platforms. This role involves supporting the sales team and maintaining efficiency in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Directly communicate with customers, providing quotes, updates, and market information

• Provide timely responses to customer requests and inquiries

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers and various departments within the company

• Effectively communicate through multiple platforms such as email, website, and phone calls

• Demonstrated efficiency with computers and relevant programs including 3M, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Management System, Microsoft Excel, About Time, Billing Functions, Campaign Planning, and Communication

• Maintain organization and flexibility in stressful situations

• Support the sales team in servicing accounts and building customer relationships. Requirements - Proven experience in an Account Manager role within the Metal Fabrication industry

• Proficient in CRM and Management Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with 'About Time' and 'ADP - Financial Services' software

• Proven ability to handle Billing Functions

• Experience in Campaign Planning

• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal

• Exceptional Customer Service skills

• Proficiency in using '3M' software in a professional setting

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
