  • Description Growing Brisbane company is looking for a Customer Service Manager! This position directs and coordinates general administration activities and personnel to support the Sales Team, including but not limited to providing customer service, order management, liaise with warehouse operations and coordinate outbound freight process. This is a direct hire, in-office position.

    Responsibilities

    Sales Administration

    • Review orders submitted on Order Time for a timely and accurate processing in compliance with company guidelines.

    • Develop policies, procedures, and tools for the Customer Service Team.

    • Oversee general administration programs and processes, and ensure adherence to established standards.

    • Prepare detailed instructions regarding sales orders and 3PL procedures.

    • Document workflow, analyze sequence of operations, and coordinate personnel activities.

    • Provide customer service support on escalation to address customer inquiries.

    • Investigate escalated customer concerns.

    • Approve pick-up and credit requests within the limits of authority.

    • Work with Accounting on collection efforts, particularly the COD customers.

    • Set up price levels as requested by the Sales Team.

    • Execute promos, BOGOs and plus-outs.

    • Maintain customer database.

    Outbound Freight for Corporate and Distributor Sales

    • Request rates from 3rd party logistic companies.

    • Calculate weight of order for bill of lading.

    • Communicate freight specifications to customers.

    • Complete documentation packet (BOL, invoices, Shipping manifest) prior to load pick-up.

    • Handle EDI inputting for required accounts.

    • Support the administration needs of the Director, Sales & Marketing.

    • Provide constructive feedback to improve individual performance.

    • Plan and schedule employee training to ensure proper skill and knowledge levels.

    • Recruit, evaluate, discipline and terminate.

    • Adhere to all Company established policies and procedures, including Human Resources and Health and Safety.

    • Special projects or other duties as required.
