Job Summary
The Solutions Engineer - Cloud will work as a cloud generalist supporting account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives. The Solutions Engineer will take a consultative approach and lead discussions with clientsregardingcloud requirements, will understand how technology enables business,and recognize new opportunities for the company. This position is a remotepositionhowever may berequiredto report to the Austin, TX location asrequiredfor business needsandasdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to: ?
Collaboratingwith?account teamstounderstand the maturity levels of customer cloud environments through review and evaluation of cloud technologies, consumption, implementations, andprocesses?
Designingand proposing?cloud?solutions?that meet customer's businessobjectives??
Collaboratingwith sales teamsto drive the solution,including making recommendations and aligningthenext steps forasale?
Strengthening?technical?relationships?with?original equipment manufacturers (OEMs),?strategic and emerging partners,?and key?cloud?partners
Educatingsales teams on?cloud?solution selling and key technologies?through 1x1 training, team training,and company training?
Conductingproduct training and positioning for?the?sales team and customer?
Qualifications
Bachelor'sdegree or equivalent?work experience??
Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platforms?
Required Skills
Highcapacityto design cloud infrastructure including?hybrid cloud,hyper-converged, infrastructure/platform as a service, micro-services, security, IAM, andgovernance?
Ability to work with?cloud?architecture frameworks?such as?CSA,?Microsoft Azure Reference Architecture,?andAWS?architecture bestpractices?
Excellent presentation Skills?
Must beresults-drivenwitha strong senseofurgency?
Attention to detail, organization, andfollow-upskills arecritical?
Certifications Required
Will berequiredto obtain from 12 months from hire date:?
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred to have upon application)??
Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred to have upon application)
Preferred Certifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional?
AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty?
Microsoft AZ-100, 300, or 500 Series certifications?
MCSA - Cloud Platform?

Google Cloud Platform Architect?
Red Hat Certified Engineer in Red Hat OpenStack?
Other relevant certifications for public cloud, DevOps, containers, etc.??
Unique Requirements
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 - $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
