    Job Summary

    As a Research Associate in the Focused Dividend Growth Portfolio Team you will assist in all aspects of stock analysis and portfolio management.

    Job Responsibilities

    • You will work with a portfolio manager to assist with primary research.

    • Your responsibilities will include: building and maintaining financial models; analyzing company financial reports; tracking industry-specific metrics; and listening to industry and company conference calls.

    • Your research responsibilities will comprise approximately 75% of your time, with the balance devoted to assisting on special projects related to the overall portfolios. Examples of portfolio-level projects include maintaining attribution and performance reports, analyzing sector positioning and related trades, monitoring portfolio characteristics, and developing content for distribution to external parties.

    Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

    • Strong quantitative background and a passion for investing, demonstrated through prior experiences.

    • Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as demonstrated quantitative and technical abilities.

    • Diligent, well-organized, and passionate about financial markets.

    • Motivated self-starter with 3+ years experience

    • Bachelor's Degree

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

    • At least one course in financial accounting or exposure in some practical way to financial analysis/mathematics.
