    Job Description - Assistant Relationship Manager, Global Corporate and Investment Banking -(Mumbai)

    • Assist and partner with RMs for the overall client coverage of the assigned portfolio.

    • ARM will be responsible for providing proactive and effective support to RMs to ensure high quality daily management of assigned portfolio in line with MUFG's business strategy, client account plan, and internal policies and procedures.

    • Assist the coverage team for proactive pitching with the client by working on client presentations. Also support RMs for high-quality internal account planning (including wallet analysis, among others)

    • Assist the coverage team in the groundwork to target new clients as well as to develop strategy to penetrate more with existing clients by supporting analysis around client wallet and related gaps and opportunities.

    • Partner and collaborate with various internal stakeholders including credit division, credit analyst team, product offices, compliance, industry/sector teams, among others.

    • Provide inputs to address relevant risk factors and proactively capture early warning indicators affecting the portfolio.

    • Assisting RMs in documentation, transaction execution by working closely with various internal stakeholders.

    • Work closely with KYC and Onboarding teams to ensure adherence to all KYC and compliance requirements.

    • Responsible for internal reporting through MIS.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Chartered Accountant or MBA from premier institute with 5-8 years of experience in corporate and investment banking.

    • Strong knowledge of credit risk and prior experience in credit analysis will be helpful

    • Superior skills to prepare high quality presentations as well as financial model.

    • Sound knowledge of banking products

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    • Team player with ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
