  • Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to join our team based in ROCKVILLE, Maryland. This role will primarily focus on leasing, residential and commercial real estate legal matters, including the drafting, negotiating, and finalizing of commercial leases. The successful candidate must be licensed in one of the following states: DC, VA, MD and must be able to work in the office 5 days a week.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide expert counsel in matters of leasing, residential and commercial real estate

    • Draft, negotiate, and finalize commercial leases

    • Apply expertise in commercial real estate and corporate real estate to daily tasks

    • Utilize skills in commercial contracts to protect our interests and those of our clients

    • Draft contracts with precision and an eye for detail

    • Negotiate contracts, ensuring the best possible terms for our clients

    • Apply knowledge and experience in commercial leasing for the benefit of our clients

    • Use extensive knowledge in real estate - leasing to provide top-tier services. Requirements - Applicant must have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience as an Attorney or Lawyer.

    • Demonstrated expertise in Commercial Real Estate and Corporate Real Estate is required.

    • Proficiency in handling Commercial Contracts is necessary.

    • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts is a must.

    • Knowledge and experience in Commercial Leasing and Real Estate - Leasing is highly desirable.

    • Must have the ability to interpret and apply laws, court decisions and other legal authorities in the course of work.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.

    • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

    • Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work under pressure are necessary.

    • Should have the ability to work independently and in a team as well.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are needed.

    • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

    • Bar Association membership in good standing is required.

    • A law degree from an accredited law school is necessary.
