    Electrification-Automation-Digitalization (EAD) is looking for a FieldService Engineer with direct experience in servicing integrated industrialsolutions with Automation Systems technologies for the Marine, and Oil &Gas industries.

    Theengineer who takes this position will travel to a customer's site andtroubleshoot, test, maintain, and/or commission solutions using Siemens Energy PLC, HMI/SCADA, control systems and industry technologyportfolio to satisfy industrial customer requirements or solve problems. The engineer will coordinate with local engineering teams to recommend anddeliver high quality technical solutions.

    Asuccessful engineer will have a strong educational and industrial backgroundand extensive hands-on experience. A passion for the field and drive to learnand tackle new challenges is an absolute must. The experienced level engineermust be able to develop customer relationships, be accurate and detailed whileworking in a fast-paced environment with multiple people, calls and projectsdemanding attention and time. Candidate must also have the willingness totravel extensively in the US and work the hours needed on industrial job sitesto complete the tasks at hand.

    How You'll Make anImpact

    • You will commissioncustomized automation solutions, maintain, and fault find marine automation/controlsystems.

    • You will learnthe latest industrial solutions and developments within Siemens Energy, and collaboratewith designers to test, commission, troubleshoot and / or update integratedsystem drawings.

    • Yourproficiency will be needed in planning workload and specific tasks, and yourdrive toward timely completions.

    • Providedirect technical support to customers from requests in case management system. M anageRemote connection system to customer sites.

    • Mostlydomestic with some international travel to other Siemens Energy and customerfacilities is required (up to 80%) with international training a potentialrequirement.

    What You Bring

    • Must have a technical degree;Bachelor 's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is preferred.

    • Must havea minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Marine or a related industry;candidates with more years of experience may be eligible for a more senior role.

    • Hand s on PLC/SCADAexperience is required with a background in Automation / Control SystemSolution Design or Service/Commissioning.

    • Familiaritywith North American and international codes and standards, OSHA, and safety andlock-out / tag-out procedures.

    • Motivatedand passionate about the role, and strength in organization and communicationskills.

    • Additional preferable skills include:

    • Marine,Drilling or Offshore production working experience.

    • VariableFrequency Drive Systems experience.

    • SiemensAutomation hands on experience (S7, TIA, PCS7).
