    JOB SUMMARY: Certified Controls Systems seeks a Building Automation Inside Sales Representative to assist in the acquisition of new and existing commercial, industrial, and institutional accounts by developing and aiding relationships with owners, Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, facility managers, and end users.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Provide accurate estimates to minimize risk while maintaining low cost

    • Track quantity and dollar volume of estimates

    • Meet project deadlines

    • Assist sales team with estimates, walk-throughs and field surveys

    • Create a scope letter for each project

    • Review specification and control schematics

    • Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals

    • Provide backup support for quotes and deviations from specifications.

    • Respond and communicate to interdepartmental requests in a timely manner

    • Utilize applicable sales tools effectively (CRM, estimating software, etc.)

    • Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results

    • Train to develop skills in outside sales

    • Selling strategy

    • Time Management

    • Automated Logic value proposition

    QUALIFICATIONS :

    EDUCATION AND EXPIERENCE:

    • High School Diploma or Equivalent

    • 2+ years Customer Service Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business or related discipline

    • Sales support experience in the HVAC industry

    • Experience in HVAC Controls or Building Automation knowledge

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

    • Demonstrates strong analytical and logical thinking skills along with judgment to make strategic decisions.

    • Ability to build relationships internally and externally.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to follow-up on issues and progress to meet leadership expectations.

    • Excellent written, verbal skills, and a passion for continuous improvement

    • Capability to perform in a fast-paced and changing environment.

    • Knowledge of how to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences, leadership, and decision makers.

    • Strong organization and time management.

    • Experience working on multiple projects while following up on issues and progress reports to drive projects to completion.

    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

    • Use of torso and lower extremities required for kneeling, crawling, climbing, stooping, twisting, and squatting.

    • Physical activities include standing, balancing, climbing stairs & ladders, walking and lifting weights of 25lbs. or more are required in daily performance of job. Use of upper extremities required for forward and overhead reaching, pushing, and pulling material handling.
