So just imagine where we can take you!The Eastern Region of Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive productivity and promote innovative solutions in a very active market.The incumbent will be responsible for developing new business opportunities to grow our maintenance portfolio in both monthly revenue and unit count, proactively prospect potential accounts for new business, develop and build solid relationships with new customers. We are looking for someone with a strong sales background with demonstrated sales success and who can efficiently and effectively sell the value of Otis.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:+ Developing and implementing lead generating market initiatives+ Understand the customer and market conditions and present a positioned offer that meets those needs+ Providing elevator maintenance consultation+ Surveying elevator systems to determine viable service options and strategies + Identify and prepare bid opportunities+ Construct maintenance proposals, capital budgeting plans+ Develop recapture strategy and negotiate with potential customers + Individual should possess broad knowledge of all elevator/escalator lines and product knowledge;+ Have the ability to provide elevator consultation and technical advice, make effective sales presentations and develop business through customer contacts and relationships and support.EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:+ Bachelor's degree required+ 3+ years of prior sales experience preferred+ Must possess leadership skills in order to work effectively with customers and other Otis employees, solid communication, interpersonal skills and outstanding sales/negotiation skills+ Must have a valid driver's licenseOtis is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
