    About the Role

    As a

    Solutions Consultant for Lending Solutions you will be

    providing subject matter and technical expertise in sales opportunities to facilitate the discovery and capture of business needs and opportunities, to develop and analyze solutions, and to engender confidence and credibility through presentation and direct interaction. As part of the team, you will demonstrate the Lending products to perspective clients within the sales cycle, and work closely with the Fiserv Sales, Marketing and Strategy teams to ensure we’re consistently delivering exceptional presentations and showcasing the advantages of choosing Fiserv solutions.

    Fiserv Lending Solutions business provides life-of-loan support and helps banks, thrifts, credit unions and other financial institutions close loans more quickly, manage loans more efficiently, and service loans more cost-effectively. This minimizes lending risk, improves customer satisfaction, enhances cross-sell opportunities, introduces new products more quickly, and facilitates compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:  

    • Collaborate with the Client Management and Sales Executives and key members of sales process during the pre-sales phase.

    • Work with Client Executives and Sales Executives to recommend the appropriate solution suite to current and prospective clients.
    • Participate in prospect qualification, discovery and requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and design solution proposals.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert for current and potential customers and the Fiserv sales force regarding Lending products.
    • Provide sales support for new sales and existing client upsell for the Lending Solutions platforms
    • Identify, document and obtain approvals for gap items discovered during sales process and provide feedback to Product Management and Development teams.
    • Illustrate the value of the product portfolio to prospects in a compelling manner, and design and deliver on-site and web based product presentations and


    • Provide support to the demo site for releases, prototypes and modules as needed.
    • Coordinate with Product Management and Development for maintaining the sales demonstration environment to ensure that the most current features and functions and the most current product release is available for use for demonstration strategies.
    • Study and stay abreast of competitors.
    • Performs other duties as required

    • Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experience

    Job Related Experience:

    • A minimum of five years of pre-sales or technology sales experience preferred
    • A minimum of five years’ experience in the financial services industry preferred in Auto Lending
    • Strong face to face and phone/WebEx presentation skills preferred
    • Proven ability to transition between sales/client facing roles and internal/technical roles
    • Experience in uncovering, clarifying and writing requirements, as well as gap analysis documents
    • Exposure to or understanding of Auto Lending

    Additional Skills/Knowledge:

    • Strong oral, written and person to person communications skills.
    • Ability to adapt on the fly to changing conditions
    • Audio/Visual – ability to connect laptop, tablet and phone to projector or other demo equipment and troubleshoot set up issues.
    • Demonstration of superior interpersonal, presentational and written communications
    • Ability to lead and motivate peers 
    • Experience working and collaborating across business units or teams
    • Ability to use independent judgment to identify problems and recommend solutions

    180 day accomplishments:

    • Proficiently provide demo to prospects with little to no support from manager or other team member.

    Travel Required:

    • 50% - 75% Travel, but can be higher or lower periodically
