    WSP is currently initiating a search for an Insurance Coordinator to join our Legal and Risk Management Team based in our Atlanta, GA office location. Other WSP office locations will be considered.

    Your impact

    Claims:

    • Initiates and assists in US based property and casualty claims in partnership with the Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance, WSP's broker, and insurance carrier adjuster.

    • Acts as an internal liaison between all the Human Resources, Safety, and Risk Management to gather the needed information and documents for legal counsel and the insurance adjuster.

    • Assists in the day-to-day management of the claims process.

    • Coordinates with Human Resources, Safety, and the Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance to ensure all parties are supported throughout the claims process.

    Certificates of Insurance:

    • Acts as the primary contact for all the certificate of insurance requests between the project teams and WSP's insurance broker.

    • Works as the principal contact for all the auto identification card requests between the fleet and WSP's insurance broker.

    • Coordinates with WSP's insurance broker and Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance to ensure all certificates of insurance have been issued accurately during the renewal process and throughout the year.

    • Provides support to the project teams to ensure all questions and requirements have been addressed regarding the certificates of of insurance.

    Insurance Renewal:

    • Initiates and collects all US based and global insurance renewal exposure requests.

    • Coordinates with the Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance to ensure the accuracy of the reporting.

    • Supports the Assistant Vice President of Risk and Insurance at each insurance renewal throughout the year to ensure a smooth and efficient process.

    Project Specific Insurance:

    • Assists in the procurement and the renewal of project specific insurance policies such as: project specific professional liability, railroad protective, and owner-controlled insurance.

    Who you are

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year institution in Risk Management and Insurance, finance, accounting, or economics.

    • 3+ years of professional experience working with an insurance carrier, insurance broker, or in a risk management department.

    • A strong understanding and knowledge of lines of insurance such as property, casualty, cyber, professional liability, employment practices liability, pollution liability, protection & indemnity, marine pollution, aircraft, drone, railroad protectives, owner-controlled insurance programs.

    • An in-depth understanding of certificates of insurance, the insurance renewal process, and claims management.

    • Preferred Qualification: Pursuing continuing education such as: CPCU, ARM, AINS, AU
